Vintage Porcelain Puppy on a Porcelain Pillow - White Fur Ears, Tail, & Top Knot. Condition is "Used".
This vintage porcelain puppy on a porcelain pillow with a white fur top knot and white fur for the ears and tail is larger than many of these kinds of figurines AND it is absolutely ADORABLE!!! It is, perhaps, made in Japan as many of these types of figurines were, however, we have no markings available to say for certain. Our guess is that it could be dated around the 1950's. There are no cracks, chips, or flea bites on this little one. The only issue seems to be that one of the ears has lost hair (the one laying on the back). There is still a bit of hair there, but definitely not as much as the other ear. You can also see where the glue was placed to attach the hair on that ear as it looks a bit dirty, but this can certainly be cleaned. We prefer to let the buyer do this kind of detail work.
