    Description

    Offered: One original equipment Golding & Co. Jobber No. 6 (8' x 12') cast iron Letterpress Chase.
    This is an original equipment cast iron chase. Excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs. I laid the chase on my imposing stone and pressed on opposite corners checked for any rocking; a sure sign of a warped chase, (no rocking whatsoever this chase is perfectly square.) On the underside of the press the name GOLDING is cast into the top of the chase with NO. 6 cast into the bottom of the chase. I completely removed most residual dried on ink and crud.
    The following
    dimensions are provided so that you can confirm this fits your press if you are in doubt. Approximate outside dimensions of this chase is 9 3/4" tall x 12 3/8" wide. Approximate inside dimensions are 8" x 12".
