This catalog, we believe to be circa 1890s, is from the Otto Gas Engine Works, distributed by W.A. Day, Boston. Like our other listed catalog, this catalog was reproduced from Francis Blake’ machines shop files. (His slide valve Otto engine was used to power his laboratory and machine shop in Massachusetts. The historic engine was acquired by Tom Rick subsequently sold by the Rick Estate to Nathan Lillibridge of Voluntown, Connecticut.) The source catalog was removed with the engine from Blake’s machine shop ca. 1960s.
The catalog was professionally replicated by Techantiques ca. 1995 and is now being offered on EBay.
This is, no doubt, an incredible resource that would compliment any internal combustion engine collection or library.
The catalog is in exceptional condition and will be shipped in a reinforced mailer.
