    Up for sale is an original typed letter from the letterhead of the State of Alabama Governor's Office from George C. Wallace, to Mr. Clifford Evans, dated August 8, 1983. Original signature, signed, "George C. Wallace".
    Clifford Evans was vice president and Washington news bureau director of the RKO General Broadcasting Corporation.
    George Corley Wallace Jr. (August 25, 1919 – September 13, 1998) was an American politician who served as the 45th Governor of Alabama for four terms.
    The letter is approximately 7" x 10 1/2".
    Overall, it is in Good condition. Folds from when it was originally folded and mailed.
