    Item Description
    A set of shaft bells I believe.  These are brass with 3 iron clappers each.  Bell sizes are 2-1/2 inches across, they have a lovely sound.  There are two rails of three, each mounted to what looks like scavenged advertising wood pieces.  Not sure if this was a maker shift instrument or if that is how it was mounted for a sleigh or buggy.  Very unique.
