RARE Antique c.1850 Figural Renaissance Artist Raphael Metal Desktop Thermometer

Rare mid 19th c desktop figural metal thermometer. Figure of a Renaissance artist, probably Raphael. Thermometer on plinthe is working and original with brass plaque backing. This piece measures 7” tall and 5.5” wide. It is made of a pewter colored metal, possibly pewter. It is better quality than spelter... as it is very heavy for size. Unmarked. There is a very minor split on back edge of base, and is hardly worth mentioning but us there.
