It catches the manure so its not dropped on the pavement or roads and you don't have to clean it up.  It will snap to the britchin on the back of horse and snaps to the shafts of the cart or carriage.  The straps and the hardware are attached to the bag. Bag is made of heavy nylon fabric with a urethane coating on the inside.
