    Description

    Up for
    purchase is a
    Vietnam War L-2B flight jacket. As per the contract tag, it was manufactured in 1968. This example is named, with double shoulder insignia including that of the 82nd Airborne. Also sewn to the jacket are a pair of US jump wings, along with Honduran jump wings. From my research and based on the styles of insignia on this jacket, I believe that someone took an original Vietnam War L-2B and added the insignia for use as a jacket during a later conflict like Desert Storm or perhaps the more recent wars in the Middle East. The jacket shows wear along the cuffs and neck. The zipper functions as it should, as do the buttons. Overall, I think this would make a nice display piece for most collections.
