This auction is for a set of 14 1/2 foot new-old-stock Ideal Equestrian “Master Craftsmen In Saddlery-Harness” carriage driving single harness cob size brown luxe leather reins. The reins have an attached tag that reads in part as follows: IDEAL EQUESTRIAN. MASTER CRAFTSMEN IN SADDLERY-HARNESS. ART NO. HD-9013. SIZE. COB. This item retails for over 0.00 online. We believe that this item was made within the last 5-10 years. Both of the reins measure roughly 14 1/2 ft in length when fully laid out. The reins also measure roughly 3/4” wide and 3/16” thick. The buckles appear to be made of brass and have a steel pin. The buckles/pins were not attracted to a magnet when tested. The buckles have wear, fading, scratches, nicks, oxidation, and normal shelf-type wear. The leather has scratches, nicks, dings, scuffs, gouge-type marks, dirty and/or dusty areas, manufacturing imperfections, and normal shelf-type wear. The reins come with a small leather string-type component that we believe may be used as a safety catch. The combined weight of the reins is roughly 1 lb 14 oz.
