When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

What a find!!
This is a NOS antique/vintage  Gorgeous Matrix Sugar
OPAL Cabochon Stone.
It measures approx. 14 mm x 11.5 mm x 6.5 mm high (just over 1/2" x just under 1/2" x  1/4" high).
See pictures. This has a scratch on the flat underside.
Please note: when the camera flashes it sometimes makes colors flash that aren't usually seen in the opal when you look at it. I have tried to give you the most accurate pictures but please understand this situation.
