    Lloyd Bacon was an American stage and screen actor and film director. He started in films as an actor with Charlie Chaplin
    and Bronco Billy Anderson. As an actor he is best known for supporting Chaplin in such films as
    The Tramp
    (1915) and
    The Champion
    (1915)
    and
    Easy Street
    (1917). He later became a director and directed over 100 films between 1920 and 1955.
