Helmet Cover Vietnam Mitchell pattern original Mid 1965 dated (MIT4)

This is an original as found US M-1 helmet
cover
. This the Vietnam era Mitchell pattern cover. This is a mid 1965 dated cover.   This is the real thing and has a very nice patina and heavy wear pattern. It has a wear through spot but it can easily be hidden when installed on a helmet.  (see pictures)  This has not seen the light of day in 40+ years. It is just out of long term storage. We took a couple of pictures with the cover mounted on a helmet (

) where you can see the wear and patina. The first couple of pictures are of the cover off the helmet. Don't miss a nice early original. Great for a been there look.
