Helmet Cover Vietnam Mitchell pattern original 1970 W/field Repairs (MIT6)

This is an original as found US M-1 helmet
cover
. This the Vietnam era Mitchell pattern cover and is 1970 dated. This is the real thing and has a good patina and heavy wear pattern.  This has small field repairs all over and a reparable hole in the top.  (see pictures)  This has not seen the light of day in 40+ years. It is just out of long term storage. We took a couple of pictures with the cover mounted on a helmet (

) where you can see the wear and patina. The first couple of pictures are of the cover off the helmet. Don't miss a good original.
