CIRCA 1895-1905  2" DIAMETER RACK DRIVE  35mm MOTION PICTURE PROJECTOR
LENS w/ IRIS CONTROL
This is very versatile all brass 35mm MOTION PICTURE PROJECTOR projection lens with a unique variable IRIS control
adjustment mechanism for doing dissolves right on the projection screen between slides and film or between film
reel changes.
Measures 2" DIA. x 3 7/8 LONG in size as shown.  Sold WITHOUT brass outer sleeve that would have the
PINION gear drive and knob and also flange which attaches to the projector head.  But
look at the photo showing over-all diameter to best determine what you would need to
do to match up the outer housing mount tube with this lens.
Wear, scratches and other imperfections is consistent with age but works fine and and displays
nicely w/ original patina.  Rear lens inner spacer ring is 1/64" too short, so when outer threaded
lens pressure ring is tightened all of the way, rear lens stills jiggles just a hair - but over-all
the still works fine.  Internal paint chipping.  Lense is perfectly clear with all elements having no chips or cracks or
