CIRCA 1890-1900 BRONZE & WOOD "UP" & "DOWN" MOTHER OF PEARL ELECTRIC PUSH BUTTON ELEVATOR CONTROL SWITCH
Fancy rare wood mounted CAST BRONZE electric elevator "UP" & "DOWN" button switch.   Unknown as to maker.  One round head screw lacking in one of the button switches - as seen in the photos.
Measures 4" x 9" x 1 1/2".   Wonderful stepped beveled wood base and electrical switch surround and bronze front plate button surround.
This is a good early complete piece. Significantly, the button switches themselves are made of early Phenolic - closer to Gutta Percha for insulating metal components within the switches.
ORIGINAL removed from old elevator installation.
Wear and abrasions consistent of age and use.  Please look al all photos as they are part of the description.
