  • Condition: This remarkable milk glass features a nesting fox wrapped up in its fluffy tail on the lid of a lace-topped dish made by Atterbury Glass. There is no damage on this delightful dish but you will see a couple large marks around the base (see photos). These marks are not completely unnoticeable but you may pass by them at first glance if you don't know they're there. But, for the friend who stops to admire your prized possession, it will be easily seen upon close inspection. Sitting atop the dish, it is just under/around 6 inches tall to the tip of the fox's pointy ear. At the widest portion, from edge to edge of the lacey lattice rim, it measures 7 3/4 inches across. Under the lid, you will find a mark that says PAT D AUG-6 . 1889 OR patented August 6, 1889. This beautiful piece of art was brought to life by Atterbury Glass.
