    Arthur Menken was an American wartime newsreel photographer and explorer. His
    photography captured the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, the Spanish Civil War, the
    Sino-Japanese War, the Finnish-Russian War, the Battle of Britain and the Battle
    for the Pacific. His father was Solomon Stanwood Menken (1870-1954), an attorney,
    best known for having founded the National Security League in 1914.
