Presenting....a LARGE and LOVELY Antique Victorian Hand-Painted Opaque Milk Glass OPEN CANDY BOX / BOWL / POT / DISH....measuring 7 1/2" in diameter across the top x 3 3/4" high x 4 1/2" across the base.....and SIGNED. Such a lovely piece of hand-painted Victorian Opaque Milk Glass, which was originally produced with a cover..most likely in the1880's....which may have been designed as a candy box or dish, etc.  Its' generous size and openness offers lots of possibilities for use around the home.....and perfect for a flower arrangement too! There is light wear to the hand-painting, and some minor chipping around the top rim, and two spots on the body that look like a popped air bubble (as there are no breaks in the glass); please view all pictures.   There are the usual old mould marks from the glassmaking process, like bubble, straw marks, swirls/striations, mould roughness, variations in coloring, and unique moulding anomalies; all characteristics inherent to antique glass.  A charming antique treasure indeed!
