Antique TAYLOR Thermometer TYCOS with Oak Back C 1907-1932 8.5 inches

Description

A  great TYCOS thermometer manufactured by Taylor Company, Rochester, New York
C 1907-1932. The thermometer plate is black oxide with a brass border and white letters
and numbers. It measures 8.5 inches by 2.25 inches wide-with the special brass hanger
up it adds another 1/2 inch to the thermometer size. There is a large brass bulb guard-
under which it says Taylor, Rochester, New York. At the top of the thermometer plate there
is a flag with "ACCURATUS B" and under that is "TYCOS". This area has some wear but still can be
read. The thermometer is on a nice Oak Wood back. This is a very nice thermometer for your
collection. The thermometer temperature reads accurately. A history of the Taylor Company
will be included with the thermometer.
