Antique Taylor Thermometer TYCOS Oak Back PERMACOLOR C 1905-15 8.5 inches

Description

A  very nice TYCOS thermometer manufactured by Taylor Company, Rochester, New York
C 1905-1915. The thermometer tube is Taylor's patented Permacolor. This Thermometer is
over 100  years old and you can still read the temperature. The thermometer plate is black
oxide with a brass border and white letters
and numbers. It measures 8.5 inches by 2.25
inches wide-with the special brass hanger
up it adds another 1/2 inch to the thermometer
size. There is a large brass bulb guard and on the plate top is TYCOS, Rochester
, New York.
The thermometer is on a nice Oak Wood back. The thermometer temperature reads accurately.
This is a very nice thermometer for your
collection. A history of the Taylor Company
will be included with the thermometer.
