Antique sterling "Blood Heat" Fahrenheit thermometer 2705

Description

Up for sale is a unique late 1800's early 1900's antique sterling "Blood Heat" Fahrenheit thermometer.  The manufacturer is unknown, the only information on this piece are the words "Fahrenheit" on the front top and lettering at the bottom that ends in "arge."  This thermometer is in the exact condition I found it it, uncleaned or altered.  The metal thermometer part has some condition issues (see photos) specifically to the paint on the front as well some areas of discoloration/staining.  The back of the thermometer has some areas of light rust.  The glass part is missing.  The "frame" is marked Sterling and "2705" on the back.  It has a lot of patina on both the front and rear.  The dimensions for this piece are 9 1/2" tall x 2 3/4' wide and approx 114 grams.  This is a beautiful original piece, maybe the only one like it still left!
