Antique Sterling "Blood Heat"(?) Cylindrical Thermometer: HOT LOOKING!!!

For sale, this antique sterling cylindrical thermometer

und at a
Philadelphia estate. Details:
Unverified, but thought to be a pre-1930 "blood heat" thermometer.
Measures ~7" high.
Top twists to
encapsulate
the thermometer inside the cylinder.
Stamped "Sterling" and possibly "WHW 489" ("WHW is not clear).
Possibly originally there was a glass cover over the thermometer portion. If so, it is not there now.
Sold as found.
