When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

What a find!!
This is a new with defects antique/vintage Gorgeous Oval OPAL Cabochon  Stone.
It measures approx. 11 mm  x 8.5 mm x  2.5 mm thick (just over 3/8" x 3/8" x just over 1/16" thick).
It is more lively  than in the pics.
Opals are really hard to photograph.
There is crazing in the stone.
Selling for Steampunk, creative jewelry design, repair or whatever!!
