Description
Offered for sale is an antique Brass French Protractor by Meurand Quai de l` Horloge, of Paris France and dated c. 1792, the maker being Charles Joseph Meurand. The protractor is graded with two engraved scales, calibrated for Cordes, Solides, boulets, Poligones, plans, pieces -- 3 7/8" long, the lacquered- brass half protractor, signed Meurand quai de l'Horloge, Paris. #369.069The name of the maker is engraved in flamboyant style. it measures approximately 2.6 x 3.8 inches. It is hand engraved with inner and outer scales. The outer edges are tapered. The straight edges are beveled.
