66 1966 Toronado deluxe chrome steel wheel rim 67 68 69 70 Oldsmobile GM factory

This listing is for a single, factory "Deluxe" chrome, 15x6 steel wheel from a 1966 Toronado.   There is a date code on the inside that appears to be 2-68 so it's possible this is not original to the 1966 car, but this one had been kept as a spare for a 1966, I think these wheels are all the same from 1966-1970 anyway so not sure if that matters.   I am told that there is a specific wheel for cars with disc brakes, I'm not sure what this one had, but I make no guarantees this wheel will fit a disc brake car, it was being used on a drum brake car when I acquired it.   No returns for fitment over disc brakes.  If you know how to ID the disc vs. drum wheels, let me know and I can check it for you. It's in pretty good shape, the chrome is bright and shiny but there are some scratches and flaws in the chrome as you can see in the closeup pics, it's not nice enough for a perfect show car, but from 5 feet away it looks very nice, I'd consider it nice used.    Note that the outer lip is not plated, these originally used trim rings.   The bead lips look pretty clean, this had an ancient tire mounted to it which still held air and was serving as a spare so I think that helped preserve it.   There's some old bead sealer on there and old paint, the painted areas will need to be cleaned up and repainted but otherwise it should be good to use, it's straight, lug holes look good, it still has the wacky original valve stem in it which was working but no guarantees, not sure I'd reuse that just for safety's sake.   These are super hard to find with factory chrome, if you need to complete a set, don't miss out.  I only have one.
