Signed Sports Illustrated of Dodgers HOF Don Drysdale
During the 1980's and 90's I attended many baseball card shows and obtained autographs in person. I would also mail out directly to a players house or a personal signing. This is an actual Sports Illustrated from April 1962 with a perfect fine fine sharpie signature. I obtained this autograph in person in the early '90s at a downtown Chicago Book Signing where Drysdale was signing copies of his newly released "Once a Bum, Always a Dodger" autobiography. He was a broadcaster for the White Sox at the time.  Perfect red sharpie signature.
The August 20, 1962 Sports Illustrated is complete and in Very Good condition with some light wear.
One of the most dominant pitchers of the late 1950s and early to mid 1960s, Drysdale stood 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) tall and was not afraid to throw pitches near batters to keep them off balance.  After his playing career, he became a radio and television broadcaster.
