The item for sale is a beautiful 1953 Time Magazine Cover that has a period Mickey Mantle autograph and inscription. Mickey signed a lot of autographs during the 80's and 90's but finding a 1953 period autograph of Mantle is very tough. The inscription reads, "To Mr. Ed Pollack My Best Wishes A Friend" and signed Mickey Mantle.
Ed Pollack was a sports writer in Philadelphia for "The Evening Bulletin" in this era.
