    Description

    Commemorating the Spanish-American War in 1898, The American Hen is protective and nurturing of the "new eggs" of PORTO RICA, CUBA & PHILIPPINES, previously controlled by Spain.
    Websites and eBay listings describe this as a Mustard "Bowl" / "Jar". It does have three slight rim nicks on the top and bottom inide rim, an internal factory "crack", undetectable with a fingernail, and some age discoloration on the bottom, all lending to authenticity of the piece, and not a repro.
    It is truly in beautiful, antique condition.
