    Description

1786 New Jersey, Nova Caesarea, copper. Horse head over plow on the obverse, and shield on the reverse.
This rare type has no coulter on the plow and date below the plow. The obverse and reverse are both mostly medium to dark brown in color. The obverse has some darker toned areas scattered over the left side. The reverse has the darker tone in the field around the shield, and the shield is the lighter brown color. There is one darker spot on the upper right of the shield, one small slightly rougher surface spot between the ears of the horse.
