1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny RARE One R-6
This variety is Nelson-14, Rarity-6, which is the rarest die combination for the "P below bust." ANACS grades it Good. This coin has excellent light brown color and surfaces. I would rather have this piece than an XF with problems.
Compare ours with that of John J. Ford auction specimen, which was sold on May 22, 2007. That piece (see photo) brought 50. Ours with better obverse. Theirs with better reverse. All things considered, these two coins are equal to each other. If you need this variety, this is your chance.

"...The last specimen of this variety to hit the market was the Ryder-Boyd-Ford coin, a sharper specimen that realized ,220. This variety is highly distinctive among this series, with the P under bust and a mustache on the obverse portrait and a crude ham-handed reverse figure. When the Zelinka collection of Voce Populis was sold in the 1987 Taylor sale, this variety was called Rarity-7. While perhaps only Rarity-6+ today, it remains extremely elusive and is missing from even advanced collections of this copper series."
