12" Tall Bell Siphon Kit for your Aquaponics / Hyroponics System
This kit will allow the water level in your grow bed to reach 12" high.
The bell is 2" wide. The stand pipe is 1" wide and the media guard is 4" wide.
This size is great for larger systems. It's best to keep the water to 1" to 2" below the surface of your medium.  The water in your grow bed should not get the surface wet.  This will cause algae to build up and steal precious nutrients from your plants.  The  media guard will be cut to approx. 2" above your growing surface.

I have built many of these for different size systems.  Please don't hesitate to ask me questions about your Aquaponics system.  I'll do my best to give you my expert opinion.
Included with this auction:
One 4" x 16" pvc thin wall media guard.
One 2" x 14" pvc bell siphon with cap and snorkel tubing (which allows the siphon to break more efficiently).
One 1" x 12" stand pipe.
One pair of male and female threaded adapters with 2 o-rings to match the adapter
Two 1" 90 degree elbows
One 7" & one 4" long piece of 1" pvc pipe  (you can easily connect your own 1" pvc pipe if you need to extend it to your fish tank).
Printed instructions are included.
Custom Order Instructions.  Please specify following Options:
Standpipe Height:
This will determine the water level height.  Measure from the bottom of your grow bed to approx. 1" to 2" below the growing surface.  The Bell Siphon is  approx. 2" taller than the standpipe.
Media Guard Height:
I would recommend this to be 2" above growing surface.
If you prefer the bell siphon to not have the snorkel tubing, express that in your email.  I'll accommodate your needs.
